Seriously. SERIOUSLY pissed off at people in general.

First my new-ish cat Muirgen was found by two friends of ours abandonned on a busy street downtown and took her in, but couldn't care for her since they already has three cats and a dog in a tiny apartment. That was about four months ago.

Now they find a bearded dragon just sitting in the cold part of their lobby, slowly dying. First Mel though it was only a tank with stuff in it, so went up to her apartment to get Will to bring it up. When Will went down he realised there was a lizard in there. He went up to tell Mel and discuss what they should do about it. They decided to take it in and find it a good home.

When Will went back down (a mere three minutes later) he comes back to find the unopened can of crickets and the heatlamp + fixture gone. The lizard and the tank are still there, mind, but it's just thel amp and the fucking FOOD that was gone. So this poor lizard had two assholes give it up withing a 24 hour period.

The sad part is the sandi n the bottom of the cage is FULL of shit, when I mean full I mean thisis white sand originally that looked a really dark brown and was CAKED to the bottom of the tank. Like... seriously... what the fuck. Not to mention the lizard itself was severely underfed.

I am so very pissed off at this development. Yet... also happy. I'm glad we got it. Graverg loves lizards and that's what we were going to get before Muirgen fell into our laps (though he loves her too, don't get me wrong), so now we have a new addition to the family--yet to be named.
